Lockheed draws plan to take Indian tech global

Aviation major Lockheed Martin hopes to expand
its footprints in India. The firm counts India among its top priority
along with West Asia and Nato. The firm will display its products
at Aero India.
The products on display will be the F-16 multi-role fighter, C-130J
transport aircraft, the P-3 maritime patrol aircraft, MH-60R helicopter,
PAC-3 air and missile defence systems, among others.
In another initiative, the company today announced it will soon
start India innovation growth programme. It will be established
as a two-year project to expand global export opportunities for
new Indian technology, said Robert H Trice, Lockheed Martins
senior vice-president of corporate business development.
We are sponsoring the initiative to show that we want to be
a corporate partner with the government and industries, Trice
said.
